Sunday was our first day on the beach. We had a wonderful day. The weather was perfect and Larry even caught a keeper fish.

In bad need of a pedicure but I figure "why bother" because the sand will just roughen up the heels and wear away the polish!

I found these clips that hold the four corners of the blanket down during a windy day!

Larry doing his most favorite thing in the world. It could only be better if he was fishing with his dad and they were catching fish!

What bait should I choose???

We got up early this morning with hopes to catch a sunrise. Well as you can see the sky was dark and cloud filled. This is my second attempt. We should have gotten up early on Sunday morning. We had a beautiful day but both slept in as we were tired from the drive on Saturday.

 

 This pier is within walking distance from the house. Larry bought a week pass so he could catch fish. Everyone he has talked to has been catching fish, except him. He did better on Sunday surf fishing. I tried out my new long range lens on this shot.. I used my 50 - 300 Olympus lens.

Every day a crew comes and cleans the sand. This is one of the tire tracks from the tractor.

I thought this was pretty of the surf crashing on the sand.

These three birds were so much fun to watch. They were waiting for the surf to bring them something good to eat!
